Appointment Assistant Appointment Assistant
Appointment Assistant is an appointment reminder display that interacts with the users outlook calendar to remind them of upcoming appointments. As an appointment approaches the man moves along the scale and the LEDs, which range in colour from green to red, light up to further indicate the time remaining before the next appointment.
At its heart is a servo motor which rotates the man along the scale and 8 LEDs which light up correspondingly. In addition a touch sensor was used for the dismiss button.
Zaid Alibhai created this for his short assignment as part of a senior-level human computer interaction class at the University of Calgary.
