Download version 3.0.1.5 (June 3, 2003)

This release was made on June 3, 2003. It includes Mike Boyle's Collabrary toolkit. Recommended actions for current users is uninstall all your old NC stuff (this includes all media items and the NC itself) and reinstall using this version. Developers: if you have any custom Media Items from 3.0.1.1 or before, they will likely need recompiling as well. This package includes seven media items: A Sticky Note, a Video Snapshot, a Photo Browser, an Availability item, a Website Thumbnail item, a Groupware Sketch item, and a Chat item. This release also includes an ActiveX control that encompasses the entire NC (if you are using it, you will need to rebuild your apps as it's a new version). This can be embedded on a webpage or alternately in an application being developed in a language that supports ActiveX. This is preliminary, so there is not really any documentation for it as yet. The name of the library for this control is "NCActiveX" and the name of the control is "NC". So in VB6 as an example, you would add the component library "NCActiveX" to your project.

New Stuff:

  • fixed: timing out items on large intervals (15 hours and bigger) no longer crashes
  • NCActiveX library updated with the same fix
  • Telepointers in SketchPic updated; right-click to activate
  • New App: VidCap.exe (start->all programs->grouplab->NC Video Record) is an NC version that can record an avi of up to an hour of activity

Current Status
