Groupkit Applications

This site offers a repository of Groupkit applications written to support research activities at GroupLab, the Human-Computer Interaction research laboratory at the University of Calgary.  

All applications requires Groupkit and Tcl/Tk to be correctly installed, and that the gkprefs file correctly point to the application. You can download these from the Groupkit page.

Groupkit Examples

Many example Groupkit applications are already included in the Groupkit distribution e.g., simple sketchpads, drawing editors, and so on. Use these to learn how to program in Groupkit.

PReSS

PReSS is a groupware application that supports results synthesis, a part of heuristic evaluation. PReSS provides a large workspace and several objects that encourage interpretation through emergence.
