GroupLab ActiveX Controls

ActiveX Controls are a way of packaging up visual controls (or widgets) for use in almost any Microsoft programming environment.

This site offers a repository of ActiveX Controls that we have developed for a variety of purposes. Refer to the documentation associated with each control for details. 

Each package includes installation files, HTML documentation, sample applications, source code, and a complete distribution package including everything. All controls are installed to C:\Program Files\GroupLab. Note that all packages require the VB Runtime Environment, which is not included with this installation.

The Grouplab BarChart creates a simple bar chart, where data elements graphed as bars can be added programmatically.

The Grouplab MotionDetector uses a camera to detect motion in its field of view by differencing successive video frames. The control shows the differenced image.

The Grouplab Web Page Thumbnail control is designed to produce a thumbnail image of a particular web site given a URL to that site.
