Table Top Framework
The University of Calgary Tabletop Framework (aka buffer framework) provides a foundation to build applications for tabletop displays. Focus is on enabling responsive interaction by a novel concept using buffer for interaction. It also provides an reusable architecture to integrate interaction metaphors into applications. Getting Started
A good place to start is the Master's Thesis of A. Miede, where the development process and the underlying concepts of the buffer framework are explained in detail:
A selection of demo videos shows what the buffer framework is capable of and what the example application looks like. They give also an introduction to interaction on tabletop displays.
